GENERAL SAFETY TIPS

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► The mains adapter must only be connected to a mains voltage of 100-240 V~,
50/60 Hz. Never try to operate the mains adapter at a different voltage.
► Only use the mains adapter supplied. The mains adapter must only be
connected once installation has been completed in accordance with the
regulations.
► The device and the mains adapter must be taken out of operation immediately
if they show signs of visible damage.
► Only pull on the plug and not on the cable when disconnecting the mains
adapter from the socket.
► Never expose the device to rain or other moisture to prevent the risk of
electric shock or fire. Do not allow the device to come into contact with
water or moisture. Unplug the mains adapter from the socket immediately
if foreign objects or liquids penetrate the device. Have the device checked by
the manufacturer before putting it back into operation. Otherwise, there is a
risk of electric shock.
WARNING
► This device is not intended to be used by children or anyone with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge.
► Heat build-up may result in smouldering fire. The device must not be covered
by materials etc. during operation as this may lead to a build-up of heat and
possibly to a fire. Therefore, do not install the device in areas where there is a
risk of fire (e.g. hay and straw stores).
► Keep the rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. Children may put
rechargeable batteries in their mouths and swallow them. This can lead to
very serious health problems. If this happens, consult a doctor immediately.
For this reason, keep rechargeable batteries out of the reach of small children.
► Risk of explosion. Only use accumulators (rechargeable batteries). These
must not be reactivated by any other means, disassembled, heated or thrown
into an open fire. Do not expose rechargeable batteries to extreme heat, cold,
pressure or sunlight. Only use the correct type of rechargeable battery with
the correct model number. Only operate the device using a rechargeable
battery that has been approved for this device.
► Prior to inserting the rechargeable battery, check for dirt and remove any
contamination using a dry cloth or soft brush.
► Risk of chemical burns. Leaking or damaged rechargeable batteries may cause
burns on contact with the skin. Therefore, always wear suitable protective
gloves. Use a dry cloth to clean the battery compartment if your batteries
have leaked and/or become damaged.
► The device provides additional safety, but does not release the fence operator
from the obligation to check the electric fence regularly for faults. Regularly check
the voltage and grounding of the fence and conduct regular visual inspections.
► Never open the housing and do not perform repairs by yourself. Contact the
Service centre if repairs are required.
► Do not change or modify the device for unintended purposes.
