HOW TO OPERATE

CONNECT TO VEHICLE BATTERY
Make sure the POWER is off on Handy Power
X and your vehicle is not running.
Connect the Positive (+) battery cable to
the positive (+) battery terminal.
Connect the Negative (-) battery cable to
the negative (-) battery terminal.
Verify the battery voltage is within the proper range for this unit
(roughly 10-15.5 volts DC). If not, DO NOT USE Handy Power X.
Turn the vehicle on.
OPERATING THE INVERTER
1.
Push the POWER button on the inverter to turn
on. The Inverter POWER LED light illuminates
Green and LCD display with illuminate.
2.
Plug an appliance of equal watts or less than 1500 into the
AC outlet. There are four 120V AC outlets and one USB port.
NOTE: Clear protective outlet cover is attached by velcro, lift up
to access AC outlets. Extension cords may be used to help reach
appliances that need to be powered - such as household items.
CAUTION: If you plug in too many appliances that
exceed 1,500 running watts (3,000 peak), Handy
Power X will turn off (overload protection) and
the Protect LED light illuminates Red. See protection functions below.

Turn the appliance ON to verify that it operates.
NOTE: LCD display shows wattage and voltage being used. It cannot run more than
1,500W at a time or it will turn off automatically. When wattage reaches 1,000, it
will transition into killowatts. 1,500 watts would read 1.5 KW on the display.

When you are finished using your appliances, turn off and unplug from Handy Power X.
5.
Press POWER on Handy Power X to turn off. Green light will turn off.
6.
Turn vehicle off.
7.
Remove the Positive (+) battery cable from the positive (+) battery terminal.
8.
Remove the Negative (-) battery cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
9.
If Protect light illuminates Red, see the Inverter "Troubleshooting" section.

PROTECTION FUNCTIONS:

The POWER button turns Handy Power X On or Off.
In the On position, Handy Power X Power LED/LCD Display light illuminates
Green. The unit begins inverting and provides AC power.
In the Off position, Handy Power X draws no current from the battery.
No front panel LED/LCD Display lights are illuminated.
When the RED Protection light indicates, it means there is a fault. That may include:
