Thank you for purchasing the analog portable air conditioner (ACAN14). This unit features cooling,
dehumidifying, and auto mode operation. Setting up the portable air conditioner requires minimal
installation effort.
NOTE: This unit is designed to cool a room no larger than 100 square feet with a standard ceiling
height of 8 feet (800 cu ft). It should not be used to cool a room with more than (2) 1000W air-cooled
lighting systems. Every additional 1000W-2000W of lighting will require an additional ACAN14.
For optimal CO supplementation, this unit should cycle off during the CO
2
The unit incorporates a power outage auto reset function and will automatically restore the last
setting of operation selected prior to the power outage. If using a cycle timer, please allow a minimum
three minute interval of off time before cycling the compressor back on. Failure to do so may damage
the unit.

SAFETY
Before installing and using the portable air conditioner, please review this manual, including the
following safety recommendations:
• Do not place the unit in any position besides vertical/upright, even temporarily or for storage.
• Wait three minutes before restarting cooling mode if the unit is turned off or power is lost.
• Never place or use flammable vapors or liquids near the unit.
• Maintain at least 10 inches of clearance around the unit. Do not cover or block air flow through
the inlet or outer grilles, as doing so may result in internal damage to the unit.
• Plug the unit into properly grounded power outlets only.
• Do not use an adapter plug, surge protector, power splitter, or extension cord with the unit.
• Do not pour or spray water directly on the unit or into the grilles.
• Do not allow children to access the unit.

THE REMOTE CONTROL

• The POWER button turns the power on or off to the portable air conditioner.
• The TIMER button operates the air conditioner's timer.
• The TEMP+ button raises the temperature by one degree.
• The TEMP- button lowers the temperature by one degree.
• The FAN SPEED button determines the fan speed.
• The MODE button toggles the air conditioner between cooling,
dehumidify, and auto modes.
