Troubleshooting
Symptom
No detergent suction
Unit begins to smoke
Pressure washer does not start
up
Pump does not reach necessary
pressure
Fluctuating pressure
Motor stops suddenly
Possible Cause(s)
• Detergent applicator is
clogged
• Overheated, overloaded or
damaged motor
• Unit is pressurised
• Plug is not connected
correctly or electrical
supply is damaged / faulty
• Thermal safety switch has
tripped
• Water inlet is clogged
• Pump sucking air from
hose connections
• Nozzle is worn or not
correct size
• Unloader / valves are
clogged / worn
• Pump is sucking air
• Clogged nozzle
• Valves dirty, worn or
clogged
• Water seals worn
• Thermal safety switch has
tripped due to overheating

Corrective Actions
• Clean applicator with warm
water
• Replace applicator
• Turn off unit and call the
dealer
• Clean water inlet
• Check that connections and
locking ring are properly
tightened
• Switch off unit and allow to
cool down
• Clean water inlet filter
• Check that connections and
locking ring are properly
tightened
• Call the dealer
• Check that hoses and
connections are tight
• Clean with tip cleaner
• Call the dealer
• Check mains supply
voltage corresponds to
specifications
