6-1 Replacing Wire Brake
1. Remove the neck, liner and front-end consumables.
2. Inspect the jump liner for damage and replace if required.
3. Remove air line connected to the wire brake.
4. Unthread the existing wire brake from the gun housing.
5. Remove the wire guide and replace if necessary.
6. Using the wire brake installation tool (part # 450-17), replace
the wire guide into the housing of the gun.
7. While holding the wire guide into position, thread the wire brake
into the housing until hand-tight.
8. Reposition the air fitting and replace the hose.
9. Reinstall the neck, jump liner and front-end consumables to the
gun housing and be sure to install the proper torque
specifications.
