COMMISSIONING
Unwind the mains cable completely.
Electrical Connection
• Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure that the mains voltage to be
used matches that of the device. You can find this information on the nameplate.
• Connect the appliance to a properly installed earthed socket.
USE
Set the switch on the handle to the desired heating/ blower setting:
Position 0: off
Position I: gentle air flow and medium temperature
Position II: strong air flow and high temperature
Switch-off
After use, set the switch to the "0" position and disconnect the mains plug.
STORAGE
Leave the device to cool before putting it away! To do so, place the appliance onto
one side of the housing or hang it up by the storage hook.
Mains Cable
• The mains cable should only be wound up loosely.
• Never tie the cable tightly round the device, as over time this may result in the cable
breaking.
• Check the mains cable regularly for damage.
CLEANING
WARNING:
• Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socket.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the device in water for cleaning
purposes. Otherwise, this might result in an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without additives.
Air Intake Grill
Please clean the grill on the air intake side of the hairdryer regularly in order to avoid
excessive temperatures as a result of heat accumulation. Remove any dirt that is
present. If necessary, a fine brush can be used.
