Installation Step 2
Installing the fence energizer:
1. Mount the fence energizer at eye level and out of reach of small children and animals,
protected from weather and moisture and away from all flammable materials and gasses
in a well-ventilated area. See diagram 3.
2. Install the fence energizer indoors when possible. If it is necessary to install the fence
energizer outdoors, protect the energizer and all electrical connections from exposure to
the elements. See diagram 4.
3. Before connecting the fence and ground terminals, plug the energizer in and check to see
if the indicator light is flashing. The light should be flashing and you should hear a click
at 1 to 2 second intervals. UNPLUG the energizer before making fence connections.
