Make sure the appliance is in good condition when you unpack it. In cases of doubt do not use it and contact
authorized Service Centre.
l
Do not leave parts of packing (plastic bags, foam polystyrene, nails, etc.) Within reach of children or
incapable persons as they are potential sources of danger.
l
This appliance is electrically safe only if connected to an efficient earthling system according to electrical
safety in force.
l
Make sure the data on the appliance rating plate corresponds to that of the main power supply and for your
electrical system before plugging into outlet. In case of doubt, contact professionally qualified personnel.
l
It is advisable to use adapters, multiple plugs and extensions .Use devices certified and conforming to
existing safety standards only should it be absolutely necessary, making sure they are compatible with your
electrical system and with the appliance technical data.
l
Any installation not conforming to instructions may endanger your safety and forfeit the guarantee.
l
The appliance is designed for domestic use for frying foodstuffs.
l
For safety's sake be careful.
-not to use the appliance with bare feet and with wet hands or feet
-not to use the appliance away from domestic environment
-not to leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents (sun, rain...)
-not to let children or incapable persons use the appliance
-never to tug on the lead or the appliance itself to unplug from outlet
-not to leave the appliance plugged into the main power supply unattended
-never to submerge the appliance in water or in other liquids.

The user must not replace the appliance lead. Contact Service Centre or professionally qualified person in
case of need.
l
Switch off and do not mishandle the appliance if it should break down and/or work badly. Contact a Service
Centre for eventual repairs asking for original spares.
l
Put the appliance out of service at the end of its service life by cutting off the lead after unplugging from the
outlet. Abide by local existing rules and regulations for its disposal.
l
Company may not be held liable for eventual damages to persons, animals or objects caused by incorrect
installation or deriving from improper, erroneous or unreasonable use.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
USING FOR FIRST TIME
-Wash basket and handle in hot water and washing up detergent.
-Wash the removable cooking bowl with a sponge soaked in water and washing up detergent.
Important!
-Never submerge the appliance in water and to mot hold it under running water.
HOW TO USE IT
-Make sure the appliance is completely dry.
-Stand the appliance on a flat, steady, heat resistant worktop, away from flammable substances or materials (e.g.
curtains, tablecloths ...) and sources of heat (e.g. gas rings, stoves...)
-Completely unwind the lead making sure it does not get caught up on the lid or sides of the appliance and do not
leave it dangling over the edge of the worktop.
-Remove basket and handle from the cooking bowl .
-Add oil(peanut or corn) or knob of fat (max. 2 kilo) into the cooking bowl making sure the level is between the
MIN and MAX (maximum 2 litre) reference making .We recommend using oil or fat for frying---check instructions
given on the food packaging. Avoid using margarine, butter and olive oil.
-Close the lid and plug into the mains outlet with easy access for safety reasons. The indicator light will light up to

show that the appliance is ON.
-Use dial to select the right frying temperature.
-The appliance ready to be use when the thermostat indicator light goes out.
-Arrange ingredients in basket making sure you do not exceed the maximum quantity allowed of 280gr., open the
lid being careful to avoid the boiling steam coming out and put the basket into the cooking bow by its handle,
which you will remove straight afterwards.
-Close the lid and leave the food to cook for the appropriate time (see "GUIDE TO COOKING TIME" table).
-When it ha finished ,unplug from outlet, carefully open the lid, lift up the basket by its special handle, shake it
gently above the cooking bowl to get rid of excess oil and pour the ingredients onto a serving dish covered by
absorbent paper.
-Leave lid open for oil or fat to cool down.
Attention!
-Avoid lifting or moving the appliance while it is working or if still hot as you could burn yourself.
-The ingredients must be dry before putting them into the oil/fat to avoid eventually spattering yourself with boiling
oil.
-Boiling steam comes out of the vents in the lid during cooking: be careful as you could scald yourself.
-Do not let children use the appliance and keep them at a safe distance.
-Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is working.
-Do not leave the ingredients to cook too long as they could catch fire.
-Do not use the appliance without oil.
Note!
-Every time you are going to use it check the oil/fat level that must be between the MIN and MAX marking inside
the cooking bowl.
-The appliance must be switched on only after putting in the oil or fat that should be melted on the bottom of the
cooking bowl and not in the basket.
-Oil/fat can be used again (we recommend not more than5/6 times depending on the type of ingredients).
