Original Exhaust System Removal
Note: With a used vehicle, we suggest a penetrating spray lubricant to be applied liberally to all exhaust fasteners and allowing
a significant period of time for the chemical to lubricate the threads before attempting to disassemble.
1. Using a reciprocating saw or hacksaw, cut the exhaust just in front of the rear muffler as shown in picture #1 and #2.

2. Lubricate all hangers and rubber isolators.
3. With a muffler stand or additional person to hold the rear muffler up in position, remove the hangers from the rubber isolators and
remove the rear muffler from the vehicle.
4. Using a 15mm socket, unbolt the flange shown in picture 3 just ahead of the front muffler.

5. With a muffler stand or additional person to hold the front muffler assembly up in position, remove the hangers from the rubber isolators
and remove the front muffler assembly. Reference Picture #4.
