To protect the shredder from corrosion when storing for a longer period, treat the cutting
blade with environmentally-friendly oil.
10. TROUBLE SHOOTING
PROBLEM
The motor does not run
The material to be chopped
is not drawn in
CAUSE
Safety lock.
Power failure.
The material is jammed in
the feeding funnel.
Shredding material is too
soft.
The cutting blade is blocked.

ACTION
Tighten the hand screw
firmly.
Check the power supply
cable, the plug and the
house fuse.
Switch the shredder OFF.
Pull the material from the
feed funnel. Switch the
shredder back ON and re-
feed thick branches such
that the blade does not
immediately engage the pre-
cut notches again.
Insert wood or shred dried
branches.
Loosen the hand screw,
open the shredder and
remove the material that
causes the blockage.
