TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

NOTE
► Pack the device for transport so that it is protected from impact. You should
ideally use the original packaging.
► Remove the batteries from the device prior to extended storage.
► Do not store the device exposed to direct sunlight.
► Store the device only at an ambient temperature of between 0°C and +40°C
and make sure that the environment is not damp.

DISPOSAL

The icon on the product indicating a crossed-out rubbish bin makes clear that
device disposal with normal domestic waste is prohibited. End users are
obliged to hand in the device at a WEEE collection point.
Any battery or power pack included with the product should be disposed of
separately if possible. As an end user, you are required by law to return used
batteries. You may return old batteries (provided we stock them as new batteries) to
our logistics warehouse (shipping address) free of charge or to a recycling centre close
to you. If the battery or power pack contains more than 0.0005% of mercury, more
than 0.002% of cadmium or more than 0.004% of lead by weight, this is indicated by
the respective chemical symbol (Hg Cd, or Pb) below the symbol of the crossed-out
rubbish bin on the battery or power pack. Batteries and power packs contain recyclable
materials such as zinc, iron, aluminium, lithium and silver. Other constituents such as
mercury, cadmium and lead may also be contained. They are toxic and endanger the
environment if disposed of improperly. Heavy metals can have harmful effects on
human, animal and plant health and accumulate in the environment.
Separate collection and proper disposal of your waste equipment and used batteries/
power packs contributes to conserving natural resources and ensures recycling that
protects human health and preserves the environment. For information on where to
find collection points for your old appliances or used batteries/power packs, contact
your town or municipal administration, the local waste disposal companies or VOSS
GmbH & Co. KG.
