Controlling the CD speed (PITCH)
Sometimes it is necessary to slow down or accelerate the tape speed
i.e. the playback of music or language e.g. in dance classes or during
language training. This can be done with the PITCH control.
Turn the PITCH control to the left to slow down the CD speed.
Turn the PITCH control to the right to accelerate the CD speed..
Turn the PITCH control to the middle setting to set the CD to
normal speed.
Starting the operation (Changing the batteries)
The infrared remote control runs off two batteries 1.5 V AAA R03.
Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control. Remove the
old batteries and place the two new batteries in the appropriate slot.
Make sure that the batteries are placed in the remote control with the
correct polarity (+ symbol or – symbol for the appropriate polarity
marked on the battery). Close the battery cover.
Note: The IR sensor is on the operational/loudspeaker side of
the device.
Note: If the device is not going to be used for a while, remove the
batteries to avoid any battery fluid leaking into the remote
control.
