TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Note: If you store or transport the appliance improperly, the appliance may be
damaged. Observe the following information regarding transport and storage of the
appliance.
Transport
To make it easier to move and transport the appliance, it is equipped with wheels and a
carrying handle.
Before transporting the appliance, observe the following:
• Switch off the appliance.
• Pull the mains plug out of the socket by the plug and not by the cable.
• Do not use the power cord to pull the appliance.
• Only roll the appliance on a flat and smooth surface.
After transporting the appliance, observe the following:
• Set up the appliance in an upright position after transport.
Storage
Before storing the appliance, observe the following:
• Empty and clean the water tank before storage.
• Allow the honeycomb filter to dry before storage. Otherwise, the appliance may
distribute a musty smell after restarting.
When the appliance is not in use, observe the following storage conditions:
• Store the appliance in a dry place protected from frost and heat.
• Store the appliance in an upright position where it is protected from dust and direct
sunlight.
• If necessary, protect the appliance from dust and dirt with a cover.
• Do not place any appliances or objects on top of the appliance to prevent it from
being damaged.
• Remove the batteries from the remote control.
