· Change the water in the tank on a daily basis if it has not all been consumed.
· Always empty the water tank when it is not being used.
- Cleaning the water tank (every 2 - 3 weeks)
Unscrew the lid to the water tank, remove the lime deposits with a cloth and rinse it
with water.
Where necessary, use vinegar dissolved in water to remove more stubborn lime
deposits.
- Cleaning the base cavity (once a week)
In the event lime deposits have formed in the base cavity, remove them with a soft cloth
and a neutral cleaning agent or vinegar and rinse it with water.
If lime has formed in the transducer area, place a few drops of vinegar on the surface of
the transducer and leave for 2 to 5 minutes. Remove the scaling from the surface with
a brush. Use a clean cloth to dry the transducer properly.
- Cleaning the outside of the humidifier
Use a cloth and water of less than 40º C in temperature to clean any stains from the
outside of the device. The vapour outlet nozzle can be washed directly in a jet of water.
- Cleaning the essence compartment:
Open the essence compartment and remove the sponge. Wash it (together with the
sponge) with plenty of soap and water. Dry the essence compartment with a soft cloth
and leave the sponge to dry completely before soaking it in essence once again.
- Storing the humidifier
When you do not intend to use el apparatus for a long period of time empty the water
tank completely. Clean the humidifier, dry it, and place it in its original packaging.
