GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read and follow the safety instructions in this chapter to avoid safety hazards when
using the device.
WARNING
► The sound from the device can cause hearing damage if used incorrectly.
Never hold the device directly against the ear of a living being.
► Children and teenagers usually have more acute hearing than adults. Switch
off the unit as soon as children/teenagers are within the effective coverage
area of the device.
► The unit is not suitable for children and persons with limited physical, sensory
or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge. Do not allow these
groups of people to enter the vicinity of the device unattended.
► Store and position the device in such a way as to prevent misuse by children
and third parties.
► Do not make any improper changes or modifications to the device.
CAUTION
► The sound emitted by the device can cause headaches, pressure or tinnitus
in people under certain conditions. Do not place the device inside living areas
and switch off the device if you spend an extended period of time in the
garden.
► Do not use the device if there is visible damage.
NOTICE
► Note that the sound emitted by the device is also heard by your own pets.
Make sure that the unit is switched off if your pet is in the effective coverage
area of the device.
► Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids. There is a risk of a short
circuit.
► Never open the housing. Liability and warranty claims are excluded in the
event of repairs carried out independently, improper connection or incorrect
operation. Contact the manufacturer for repairs.
► Only use the accessories supplied or those approved by the manufacturer.
