Charging instructions

4.1

Charging times

• Before first use, charge the batteries for 16 – 24 hours; otherwise charge for 6 hours or
overnight.
Further information is given in chapter 6 "Battery usage", page 30 and chapter 9 "Rheostat
operating instructions", page 34.
4.2

Charging using the charging unit

• The charging unit can be found in the Headlight MedLED Sapphire
• Insert the Micro-B USB plug (2) on the charging cable into the socket (3) underneath the
left-hand battery pack.
• Insert the USB plug (1) on the charging cable into the USB socket (4) on the wall plug
adapter.
•
Plug the wall plug adapter into a mains socket.
• Alternatively, you can also charge the batteries by plugging the charging cable's USB plug
into a USB port on a PC.
