. Operate the appliance only when the blade locking knob is
properly engaged and tightened.
. Be careful : the blade continues to turn for a brief instant after
the appliance is switched off.
. Set the control button for slice thickness (f) to «0» position and
unplug the appliance from the outlet after each use and before
cleaning.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is intended for household use only. Do not use it for
commercial purposes. Any servicing other than cleaning and user
maintenance should be performed by the nearest authorized
KRUPS Service Center (see GUARANTEE OF PERFORMANCE).
Do not immerse the appliance in water.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not open the
appliance. No user serviceable parts are located inside of the unit.
Repair should be done by an authorized KRUPS Service Center only.

SPECIAL CORD SET INSTRUCTIONS

Regarding your cord set :
A. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risk of
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
B. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
C. If an extension cord is used (1) the marked electrical rating of the
extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the appliance, (2) if the appliance is of the grounded type, the
extension cord should be of a grounded type 3 wire cord, and (3)
the longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over
the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over unintentionally.
D. This appliance has a polarized plug (one prong of the plug is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any
way.
