Measure the set at the end of the lever.
Set: 3-8 mm If the set is not correct, loosen the locking nut and
turn the adjusting nut outwards or inwards as required.
(1) Fixing nut (2) Adjusting nut
After adjustment, tighten the locking nut. Start the engine and
check that the operation of the clutch lever is correct.

7. Adjusting the tension of the belt
Adjust the clutch lever.
The standard tension of the belt is 60-65 mm in correspondence of
the tensioning cylinder with the clutch set (clutch lever tightened).
To adjust, loosen the 4 engine coupling bolts and the engine clamp
bolt and drive the engine in forward or reverse to properly tighten
the belt.
NOTE: after adjusting the tension, check that the outer and inner
side of the transmission pulley match, using a straight gauge.
(1) Motor coupling bolts
(2) Pin fixing motor
Loosen the strap stop fixing bolts.
Adjust the play between the strap stop and the belt itself as shown
in the figure, keeping the clutch lever depressed.
10. TRANSPORT/STORAGE
ATTENTION: During transport operations, switch off
the engine, close the fuel valve and keep the machine in a
horizontal position to prevent fuel spillage.
The fuel vapors and the fuel itself are flammable. Before storing the
machine for a long period:
1. Check that the place where the machine will be stored does not
have dust or excessive humidity, nor are herbs or other flammable
materials.
2. Empty the tank
ATTENTION: Gasoline is extremely flammable and explosive under
certain conditions. Do not smoke or generate sparks in the surroun-
ding area.
a. With the valve switched off, remove and empty the fuel filter
cap.
b. Open the valve and empty the gasoline into a suitable container.
c. Replace the fuel filter cap and tighten completely.
d. Unload the carburetor by loosening the discharge handle. Dis-
