Failure to use the ladder properly could result in injury.
− Inspect upon receipt and before each use; never climb
a damaged, bent or broken ladder. All parts must be in
good working order. Make sure all joints are tight; rungs
and braces are secure; locking lever and securing strap
function properly. Do not use ladders with missing, loose,
damaged, or non-operating parts.
− Replace heavily worn feet and illegible labels.
− IMPORTANT: the ladder is designed to support one person
plus materials and tools not more than the working load
of 250 lbs (113.4 kg).
− Only climb the ladder if you are in good health. Some
health conditions such as pregnancy may pose an
increased risk to your health. If applicable, ask your doctor
before stepping on the ladder.
− DO NOT USE THE LADDER if you are subject to fainting
spells, or are using medicine or alcohol, or are physically
impaired. Do not use ladder if your judgment or balance is
reduced by age, health, or drugs.
− Make sure that the ladder is suitable for the intended use.
− Do not set up the ladder on steps.
− Do not set up the ladder on icy or otherwise slippery surfaces.
− Only use the ladder on a clean, flat, level and stable base
that does not move.
− Do not use the ladder to bridge distances or as a bridge.
− Do not use the ladder to climb up to other levels.
