ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY:
Use only the mounting plate supplied with the VISIO 5plus
1. Hold the mounting plate horizontally in place where the unit should be mounted and mark the holes
to be drilled in the wall.
2. Drill a hole with drill bit and insert the fixing plugs.
3. Screw the mounting plate in with a suitable screw driver.
4. Press the unit into the four mounting pins and down.
5. Check that all four pins have engaged.
To disassemble, disconnect the power cord and push the unit up to remove it from the mounting plate.
OPERATING PROCEDURE:
1. Insert the Power cable in the wall socket.
2. Do not switch the Unit On until the instrument Head is properly connected to the Handle.
3. Loosen the screw in upper part of handle using the special Allen key provided with the unit as shown
in below figure 1.
4. Hold the Handle and Head in each hand, insert the head into Handle and match the bayonet grooves
on the Handle and Head, push the head down and turn it clock wise.
5. Tighten the screw through the instrument head with bayonet mount of the handle as shown in below
figure 2 and final view is shown in figure 3.
6. Turn the power switch to "I" and then tighten the screw making the head more secure as explained
in below diagram that is on position, the Indication LEDs will glow making sure that unit is in working
condition now.
7. The attached instrument Head will automatically light up when the Handle is removed from Handle
cradle.
8. Instrument Head brightness can be adjusted by using the Adjustment button on the Handle.
9. Brightness can be increased and decreased by pressing the Adjustment button on '+' and '‐' position
respectively.
10. T he Handle can be simultaneously used independent of each other because of galvanic isolation.
11. The Adjustment button does not turn the instrument completely Off, Placing the handle onto cradle
will turn the instrument completely off.
12. K indly switch off the unit from Power switch (i.e. at '0' position) in case it is not in operation in order
to ensure long operating life.
Note: The otoscope and ophthalmoscope are intended for short-term treatments ≤ 1 minute with a break of 10 minutes
between applications. The maximum temperature at the application point at an ambient temperature of 40 °C and in
continuous operation is 48 °C.
The VISIO 5plus handles are equipped with VISIO Connectors for use with all the VISIO 2000 and Visio
5 instruments.
