OPERATING YOUR TV
Once you have connected your TV to an antenna or cable system, plugged the TV in, and put
batteries in the remote, you are ready to use the TV. The first thing you should do is program
your TV so it memorizes of available analog & digital channels.
Turning Your TV On
To turn your TV on, press the " " button on the remote control. You can also use the " "
button on the front panel. Make sure your TV is plugged in before you try to turn it on.
Programming Your TV' s Channel Memory
Your TV' s memory determines the channels that are available using the " -"or " +" buttons. s.
If a channel is not in memory. you can tune to it with the number buttons, but not with the
" -"or "
+" buttons. Follow these steps to program your TV' s memory:
1. PRESET
•
Press the MENU button twice
to enter "PRESET" menu.
To memorize all available analog and digital channels.
•
Press the " -" button to highlight "FULL SCAN" then press " " button to begin
channel scanning, the channel scanning starting with analog channels then to digital
channels.After your TV finishes memorizing the channels, it will return to normal TV viewing.
Note:
Searching for digital channels may take about 50 minutes or more to complete.
To memorize analog channels only
•
Press the " -"or " +" to highlight "RECEPTION" then press " " or " " button
to select desire "ATV AIR" or "ATV CATV".
•
Press the " +" button to highlight "MEMORIZE CHANNELS" then press " " to begin.
•
When finishes memorizing the channels it will return to normal TV viewing.
To memorize digital channels only
•
Press the " -"or " +" to highlight "RECEPTION" then press " " or " " button
to select desire "DTV AIR" or "DTV CATV".
•
Press the " -"button to highlight "MEMORIZE CHANNELS" then press " " to begin.
•
When finished memorizing the channels, it will return to normal TV viewing.
