PREPARATION

Your PaintWIZ™ Hand-Held Sprayer can be used to spray paints,
varnishes and glazes that are undiluted or slightly diluted.
NOTE: Thinning advice can always be found on the paint canister.
The viscosity cup included helps measure the
viscosity (thickness) of paint. For proper
viscosity measurement, stir the material
thoroughly.
Submerge the viscosity cup in the material.
Hold the test cup up and measure the time in
seconds until the material runs out.
This is only an approximate guide.
Thinning recommendations:
Spray material
Oil enamel
Oil based primer
Oil stain
Clear sealer
Polyurethane
Varnish
Lacquer and lacquer sanding sealer
Automotive finishes
Latex
The material being used may need to be thinned with the appropriate
solvent or thinner as recommended by the material manufacturer.
Material should always be strained to remove impurities in the paint
before spraying. Impurities may clog sprayer and will also result in a poor
finish.

Once you have properly thinned and strained your material, fill the cup.
Screw the cup onto the sprayer making sure that it is correctly threaded
and secure.
Aligning the Pick-Up Tube
The Pick-Up Tube can be aligned depending on the angle you will be
spraying. When the Pick-Up tube is positioned correctly, all of the
contents in the container will be sprayed with minimal residue.
When spraying projects in a
downward direction, the bottom of
the Pick-Up Tube should point
forwards.

When spraying projects overhead, the
bottom of the Pick-Up Tube should point
backwards.
