Warning Message & Protection System
It is recommended that the cooktop be used in a 120V electrical outlet that is not
operating another appliance. Dips or surges in the power, operating the unit
closer than 4" (10 cm) from walls, blocked vents, or use of non-magnetic
cookware or cookware without food or liquid may cause the appliance to go into
a protection mode.
E0 – Circuit breakdown detection
E2 – Cooktop overheat protection
E3 – High voltage protection (greater than 140V)
E4 – Low voltage protection (less than 90V)
E5 – Sensor detection protection
E6 – Cooking surface overheat protection (when the temperature
at the bottom of the cookware is too high — over 560°F/295°C)
If no cookware, unsuitable cookware, or cookware smaller than 3
cooktop will not operate.
For your protection, the cooktop is equipped with a two-hour idle protection. If
the cooktop temperature is set to 300°F/150°C or higher and does not receive any
instruction within two hours during operation (unless the timer function is being
used), the cooktop will shut off automatically.
Troubleshooting Guide
Problem:
Possible Solutions:
• Make sure unit is plugged in properly and electric outlet is functioning.
• Make sure cookware is put on the center of the ceramic plate.
Problem:

• Check if the cookware is suitable for induction cooking.
• Check if the cookware is put in the center on the ceramic plate.
• Check if the diameter of the cookware is larger than 3
Problem:
Possible Solutions:
• Check if the environmental temperature is very high.
• Check if the ventilation holes are blocked.
• Use an electrical outlet that is not being used by another appliance.
• The protection device is operating. Wait for 10 minutes and try again.
When plugged in, there is no beep and power lamp is not on.
Warning beep sounds continuously and the unit stops running
Suddenly stops heating when operating.
