The bandage has to be applied wrinkle-
free, and the edges of the bandage
should not cut into the patient's body.
The lateral pressure plate with the coil
springs should be positioned laterally
on top of the hip joint.
2. The compression intensity should be
adjusted in a way that allows for a good
stabilization of the hip joint without
constricting the patient too much.

In rare cases it may be necessary to indivi-
dually adjust the bandage to the patient.

If necessary, individual spring coils can
be removed to achieve the desired sta-
bilizing effect. For some patients with a
mainly sedentary lifestyle the front coil
spring may be removed.
