Operating instructions for pre-filled, maintenance-free batteries
NOTE:
· This is a maintenance-free 12-volt battery.
· Regularly checking the battery acid is not necessary.
· There is no need to refill the battery acid.
· Do not remove the plugs under any circumstances, even when charging!
The battery is partly charged when purchased, and should be completely charged in any
case using a suitable battery charger before being installed.

Start-up
· The battery is partly charged when purchased, and should be completely charged in
any case using a suitable battery charger before being installed.
Once it is fully charged, the battery is ready to install.
Maintenance
· Please use a voltmeter to check the battery voltage; do not use the battery for at
least 15 hours beforehand.
· The battery voltage should be at least 12,4 V. If it is below this, charge the battery
with a charging current of 1,6 A.
· If the battery has not been used for a long time, it should be fully recharged after 6
months at most to prevent damage.
· A completely empty battery should be fully recharged within 48 hours.
Winter storage
Filled batteries should be fully charged before being stored, and should be kept in cool,
dry conditions above sub-zero temperatures.
First connect the red cable (+/positive pole),
followed by the black cable (–/negative pole).
First disconnect the black cable (–/negative pole),
followed by the red cable (+/positive pole).
