TIMER SWITCH
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
DESCRIPTION
The PULSAMAT automatic stairway lighting switch permits the adjustment of the
length of time that a lighting installation is turned on. The system is activated by
means of a sensor incorporated into the device's front panel or via external
switches, and it may be reset during the set time, which will initiate a further timer
cycle.
INSTALLATION
ATTENTION: The installation and mounting of the equipment should be carried
out by an authorised installer.
The unit is internally protected against outside interference by a security circuit,
however, certain especially strong magnetic fields may affect its operation. It
should not, therefore, be installed close to any inductive loads (motors or
transformers etc).
MOUNTING:
Wall-embedded, by means of the supplied metal enclosure in a universal box (60
x 40). Remove the front plate by leverage in order to access the fastening point.

The unit should be connected in accordance with the following diagram:

WARNING: IT IS IMPORTANT TO CORRECTLY CONNECT THE PHASE (L)
AND NEUTRAL (N) WIRES
OPERATION
By simple sensor contact. There is no need to press it. It may also be operated
using conventional external pushbutton switches (additional pushbuttons), and
even to maintain the light turned on by means of a clock or switch (permanently
turned on)
ADJUSTING THE TIMER
Remove the front plate by pressing one of the sides. Use a fine screwdriver to
adjust the potentiometer marked "+" and "-", until the required timing has been
obtained. When the plate is refitted, verify that both the neon lamp and the
sensor contact correctly fit into their corresponding housings.
