1. Good to know – How to weigh correctly
As far as possible, weigh yourself at the same time everyday (ideally in the morning), after having
been to the toilet, on an empty stomach and without clothing, in order to obtain results which can
be compared.
In order to calculate your height simply and accurately, the scale uses a height calculator,
which measures your height. It has a measurement range of between 50 cm and 2 m.

Warning, do not step onto the scale with wet feet or if the surface of the scale is damp –
danger of slipping!

Protect the scale from knocks, damp, dust, chemicals, drastic changes in temperature and
nearby sources of heat (ovens, heaters).

Repairs may only be carried out by Beurer Customer Services or authorised retailers. Before
each repair query, first check the batteries and replace them if necessary.

Each scale is made in accordance with EC Directive 2004/108 + amendments. If you should
have further questions about using our devices, please contact either your retailer or
Customer Services.

The device should be cleaned with a damp cloth from time to time. Do not use any abrasive
cleaning products and never submerge the device in water.

Storage: Do not place any objects on the scale when they are not being used.

The device is suitable only for self-testing, not for medical or commercial purposes.

When supplied to the customer, the scale is set to weigh in

3. Use
This scale is used to calculate people's weight and BMI. For this purpose, this scale has a weighing
range of up to 150 kg. If the scale is loaded with a higher weight (>150 kg), "-----" will appear in the
display. Your height is necessary for calculation of your BMI. If you simply wish to calculate your
height, please use the provided height calculator. If your height is outside of the measurement range
(50 cm – 2 m), "Err1" will appear. If calibration is incorrect, "Err2" will appear.
