iv. BLADE ASSEMBLING and
DISASSEMBLING
SIDE BLADES
1) To remove blades from the holding plate, unscrew the
blade mounting screw on each side of the holding plate.
Also slightly loosen the mounting screws of the holding
plate.
2) To install the new blades, place them on each side of
the holding plate and fit them with the installation screws.
(Use the hexagonal screw driver).
3) Tighten the installation screws of the holding plate.

v. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Do not apply more than 30
lbs pressure. Allow time for
the machine to do a clean
scraping operation.
IDEAL WORKING
POSITION.
NOTE: Fully tighten the blade installation screws of
the blades. A loose installation can be dangerous.
Always check to see if they are tightened securely.
CAUTION: Always be sure that the tool is switched
off and unplugged before removing or installing the
blades.
IMPORTANT:
• Never change bolt length on rubber shocks and
do not use shims or bushings on top or bottom.
• Verify parts # 26 and # 50 periodically.
• Use only Pearl Abrasive Co. blades for good
results on plywood.
