H I G H L I G H T S
The bill counter is an easy to use, functional and accurate device, being perfect for any kind of business.
It features a magnetic band detector, UV proof system, 2x3 digit screen, activated sensor indicators, warning
alarm, and buttons for select the desired functions. You can count 110x50 mm and 175x65 mm bills, it also
includes a hopper and 200 notes of stacker capacity, it counts up to 1000 notes per minute. The package
includes accessories for its maintenance.

C O N T R O L S
1. SCREEN: Displays the count number and error messages.
2. PREVIOUS COUNT NUMBER.
3. MG:The LED indicator lights up when it is on magnetic stripe detection mode.
4. UV: The LED indicator lights up when it is on ultraviolet detection mode.
5. ADD: The LED indicator lights up when it enters adding mode.
6. PRESET: LED indicator lights up when it is on group counting mode.
7. ALARM: The LED indicator lights up when the device detects a counterfeit and is accompanied by an
audio tone.
8. FUNC: Selects the detection mode, UV or UV-MG.
9. ADD: Selects note adding mode.
10. PRESET +10: It allows to increase by 10-digit when in grouping mode.
11. PRESET +1: It allows to increase by 1 digit when in grouping mode.
12. RESET: Allows to return to the preset values.
13. FEEDER: Here is where notes to count or detect are placed.
14. RECEIVING TRAY: Here is where accumulated bills are placed.
15. ADJUSTMENT SCREW: Adjust the feeder.

H O W T O U S E
To start the operation of the counter, perform the following
steps:
1. Connect the external display to connector on the back.
2. Connect the power cord to the rear and to an electrical
outlet.
3. Press the power switch to turn on the device.
If you only enter count mode, follow these steps, if you carry out the count with
counterfeit detection, head to the next section.
1. Place tickets in the feed tray.
2. On the screen the number of numbered tickets will be displayed.
3 If you select the ADD function (by pressing the corresponding button), can
rely on groups of tickets and the number of these will be added to the total
account.

This unit can detect questionable or counterfeit bills. Available detection systems can be activated by
pressing the FUNC button.

1. Press the FUNC button MG and UV will turn on.
This selection will enter into magnetic and ultraviolet sensor mode.
2. Press the FUNC button again and only the UV LED will be on.
This selection is only ultraviolet detection and thus recommended to detect only
paper bills because polymer ones don't have magnetic stripe.
3. Press the FUNC button again and UV and MG will be disabled.
This selection is only magnetic detection and thus is recommended to detect
polymer (plastic) bills as well as paper ones.
4. Place the bills in the feed tray, if the device detects a false one, it deliver a
sound, "alarm" LED will be lit and on-screen error "ee1" mark.
Integrated UV and magnetic detection systems are valuable instruments for
detecting counterfeit notes. However, like any other integrated detectors, it does
not guarantee the legitimacy of the notes analyzed due to unpredictable advances
in money counterfeiting.
G R O U P I N G
If you have a large quantity of bills and wish to form groups of certain amount, select this option to count
and group together.
1. Configure the detection mode (UV, UV-MG or simply counter).
2. Press PRESET +10 button to increase digits by 10 or PRESET +1 to increase by one.
3. Place bills on the feeder.
4. Remove counted bill group tickets to continue with the next one.
5. To exit this mode, press the RESET button.
R E P L A C I N G T H E F U S E
The fuse must be replaced if the unit is connected to a power outlet, the switch is in the ON
position, and even so, it is not working. In this case, fuse replacement can solve the
problem.
Disconnect the device before you start. For continued fire risk protection, replace only with
a fuse of the same type.
With a flat screwdriver, remove the fuse box. This contains a fuse, remove and replace it.
Replace the fuse box.

E01 Left sensor does not work or is dirty.
E02 Right sensor does not work or is dirty.
E03 Code sensor is dirty or loose.

EE6 Bill with the magnetic stripe on a different site is detected.
EE8 Bill is not the proper size (110-180 mm).
EE9 Two bills are counting as one. To fix this, tighten the adjustment screw.

This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from
the date of purchase.

3. The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was received.

THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by
unauthorized personnel, improper safe keeping, among others.
a) The consumer can also claim the warranty service in the purchase establishment.
b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or purchase ticket.
