Troubleshooting

Problem
Motor will not start
or stops while
operating
Circuit breaker trips
or fuse
blown in fuse box
Water or oil leaking
from
bottom of pump
Pressure increases
when
gun is closed
Motor running but
pump not building
maximum pressure
or has irregular
pressure
Possible Cause
Circuit breaker
tripped or fuse blown
in circuit fuse box
Loose or discon-
nected plug
Tripped pressure
washer circuit
breaker
Circuit overload
Extension cord too
long or wire size
Nozzle partially
blocked
A small amount of
leakage is normal
Bypass valve not op-
erating properly
Faucet closed
Unit has been stored
in freezing
temperature

Correction
Disconnect all other loads on the same
circuit and reset circuit breaker or
replace fuse
Reconnect plug
Allow to cool and restart unit
Check that circuit is rated 15 A or greater.
Disconnect all loads on the circuit
Use proper extension cord as
recommended in Operator's Manual
Clean nozzle as instructed
If excessive leaking occurs call
Customer Service Department
Call Customer Service Department
Open faucet.
Thaw out unit completely including
hose, gun and wand
