1.6.2 Double chronograph
Double chronographs feature two second hands, the second one, called
split-second hand, being used to measure intermediate times before instantly
catching up with the first one and continue to measure seconds.

actions starting at the same moment
but lasting different times. Several
successive periods of time are therefore
measured, and their respective lengths
can be compared. Such comparative
timing is frequently used during sports
