1. Attach a 3-wire commercial grade extension cord to a GFCI protected service and plug the other end into the outlet
under the Access Cover of the KNAACK PowerCrew located on the outside of the jobsite storage box.
2. A red light (LED) on the face of the KNAACK PowerCrew will glow red indicating power is available.
3. Test GFCI function of KNAACK PowerCrew:
A. Red LED light is on.
B. Press the TEST button. The RESET button should pop out and the red LED light should go off.
C. Press the RESET button. The RESET button should stay in and the red LED light should come back on.
D. The GFCI is operating correctly and KNAACK PowerCrew is ready to use.
E. If the GFCI fails to operate as described above, refer to the Trouble Shooting Guide.
4. For added protection, the KNAACK PowerCrew has an internal relay which senses an open neutral condition in the
supply and stays open, preventing electricity from reaching a person who might be in contact with a broken wire.
5. SUGGESTED USE: KNAACK PowerCrew can supply simultaneous power to 4 devices as long as the total
amperage added together is 15 amps (1800 watts) or less. Typically, this will allow battery charging for tools and
medium duty tool operation at the jobsite storage box.
6. Fused Outlets: KNAACK PowerCrew is equipped with a 15AMP time delay fuse. Should a short circuit occur, it will
blow, or open, and disconnect power to the outlets.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Resolution
Look to see if the red LED light is glowing on the
KNAACK PowerCrew housing.
If not, ensure the supply extension cord is properly plugged into the inlet plug of the
KNAACK PowerCrew unit.
Push the RESET button on the GFCI outlet to reset.
If loads are removed from outlets and the reset still does not stay pushed in, then
there is a problem with the GFCI. Remove KNAACK PowerCrew from service.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
Immediately and carefully unplug the extension cord from the power source and
remove the KNAACK PowerCrew unit from service.
Push GFCI test button. If reset button does not pop out then check fuse. Twist the
fuse holder cap counter-clockwise to open. If fuse is blown, replace with a 15 AMP
time-delay fuse (KNAACK Part Number 70113).
