The attachment lock locks the coupled attachment unit by means of the bolt.
By actuating the attachment locking lever, the bolt releases the lock. In this condition the
attachment unit be coupled or uncoupled.
The machine may suddenly trap the user or third persons, cause them to fall over or run
them over.
• Coupling and uncoupling attachments may only be done when the engine is turned off.
• After coupling attachments, check whether the attachment locking bolt is engaged and
the attachment is connected to the machine.
Bolt engaged
The choke is used for starting the engine when cold.
When starting the cold engine, the choke must be in the "Start" position. As soon as the
engine is running, move the choke back into the "Run" position.
The switch for the electric starter can be used to start and stop the engine.

The machine may suddenly trap the user or third persons, cause them to fall over or run

• All prerequisites for starting the engine must be adhered to (see chapter 5.2).
If an electric starter is used, the engine can only be stopped with the switch for the electric
starter.
