LOW-PROFILE SET-UP
To reduce the risk of injury, turn tool off and
disconnect it from power source before installing and
removing accessories, before adjusting or when making
repairs. An accidental start-up can cause injury.
ATTACH THE MOUNTING CLAMP ASSEMBLIES (FIG. 3,9)
Follow directions under High Profile Set-Up: Attach The
Mounting Clamp Assemblies, with these differences:
- Orient the fence as shown in Figure 9.
-Use T-slot (Q) Fig. 9.
ATTACHING FENCE TO TABLE (FIG. 4-5,9)
Follow directions under High Profile Set-Up: Attaching
Fence to Table, with these differences:
- Use fence and mounting clamp assemblies assembled as
shown in Figure 9.
ASSEMBLING LOW-PROFILE FLIP STOP (FIG. 10)
The low-profile flip stop assembly (C) comes shipped ready
to use.
To use high-profile flip stop as a low-profile flip stop, remove
knurled thumb screw (E) and high-profile flip stop extension
(D) from low-profile stop assembly (C).
ATTACHING FLIP STOP TO FENCE (FIG. 7, 8, 11)
Follow directions under High Profile Set-Up: Attaching Flip
Stop to Fence, with these differences:
- Be sure fence (A) is oriented as shown in Figure 11.
- Use T-slot (R)
OPERATION
Before turning the drill on, be sure the drill
bit will clear the fence when it is lowered down to drill the
workpiece. If drill bit comes in contact with the fence, the
fence will get damaged and it might cause the operator
harm from flying debris
