MAINTENANCE
The moving parts of the hoist should be periodically checked, since dirt, rust etc. may result
in slower or nonhomogeneous movements. Proper lubrication is an essential requirement for
hoists to run correctly. Therefore, the bearings of the steering wheels should be periodically
checked, making sure that the piston is in excellent condition, in terms of both cleaning and
lubrication. Clean with a an oil-soaked cloth, if need be. When the hoist is not used, keep it
completely down.
If the hoist does not complete its travel while the vehicle is being lifted, check the oil level.
If a hydraulic hoist is damaged, worn, does not run correctly or is believed to have been
overloaded, "IT SHOULD NOT BE USED UNTIL IT HAS BEEN REPAIRED". The owners
and/or operators should be aware that repairing the product requires specialist skills
and facilities. Only components and labels authorized by the parent company should be
used on this hoist.
