IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Safety devices
The HYDRO CARE device by LANAFORM® complies perfectly with all appropriate electrical safety standards. These devices
are listed below.
Safety fuse in the device.
Implement conceived to interrupt the main power supply immediately if a problem arises.
Long power cord
The adapter must be connected to a bathroom plug which is far enough from any place with water to avoid a short circuit
or an electric shock. The unit is equipped for this purpose with a long power cord.

Wall mounting

The long flexible air supply allows the unit to be mounted on a wall in complete safety, at a sufficient distance from the
tub or any other water point.
When using the electrical device, the following safety precautions should always be followed in order to reduce the
risk of electric shock, bodily harm and fire. Read these instructions carefully before any use and keep it nearby for later
consultation or in case of use by new users.
• ALWAYS verify the power plug before every use.
• NEVER touch the power plug, cord or main unit with wet hands or when you are taking your bath.
• We recommend that you connect this unit to a power outlet located outside the bathroom.
• Do not cover unit.
• Do not use the bath mat in tanks or inflatable swimming pools.
• Keep all electrical devices out of the reach of children and store them in a safe place.
• This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacities, or by persons lacking experience or knowledge, unless they could are supervised or receive prior instructions
regarding the use of the device from another person responsible for their security. Children must be supervised to make
sure they do not play with the device.
• To avoid risk of electric shock, never submerge the main unit, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Never try to catch an apparatus which has fallen in water. Disconnect the power in the area immediately and unplug the
device. Do not reuse.
• Avoid putting the device in any place where the power cable could be incidentally severed.
• Make sure that the device is in the OFF position before connecting it to the main power supply.
• Do not move the device by the cord; do not pull on the power cord to unplug.
• Do not use this device if the plug is damaged. Repairs should be made by a qualified electrician.
• If the device stops suddenly or if its functioning seems faulty, unplug and stop any use immediately.
• Never leave the device unsupervised when it is connected to the main power supply.
• Unplug the device if it is not in use and before cleaning it.
