The tension indication system uses two load cells, thus assuring the total force applied on the
sensor roll is indicated, regardless the point in which it is applied.

Installation

This installation information aims at being used by qualified personnel only. In order to reduce
electrical shock hazards, do not perform any service but those described in this manual, except you are
also qualified.
To open the plastic case, remove the front plastic frame. Take care to not force too much.;
loosening the fastening screws may be required.
Before performing any connection, check the voltage selection jumper (110 / 200 V) on the
circuit board is correctly positioned. Use the following table:
Voltage Jumper 1
110 Position 1 - 2 and 3 - 4
220 Position 2 - 4 (1 and 3 free)

Adjustments

6.1 Decimal Point Selection on the Display (Model EI185)
The maximum display reading will be 1999 units; therefore, any value to be displayed shall
have its maximum point up to this limit. For reading with decimal, centesimal or millesimal values, a
point will be selected by the Jumper 2, located on the display card, as indicated below:
