Charging your Notebook
Before you can connect the notebook charger to your notebook, you have to pick the correct charging tip
and set the correct voltage. You can find the correct voltage for your notebook on the bottom of your
notebook, or on the original power supply.
A list of compatible notebooks can be found in the FAQ section of the Conceptronic website.
• Select the correct tip for your notebook from the included 15 tips (Appendix B).
• Connect the correct tip for your notebook to the output cable of the notebook charger.
When using the notebook charger at home:
• Connect the AC power cable to the notebook charger and to a free wall socket.
When using the notebook charger in an airplane:
• Connect the Travel powercable (EmPower cable) to the notebook
charger and to the EmPower connection in the airplane.
When using the notebook charger in a car:
• Connect the Car Converter to the Travel power cable (EmPower
cable).
• Connect the Travel power cable (EmPower cable) to the notebook
charger and to the Cigarette lighter connection in your car.
The display on the notebook charger will turn on and will show the last used voltage.
• Use the button next to the display to set the correct voltage for your
notebook. You can choose between 12 Volt, 15 Volt, 16 Volt, 18 Volt,
19 Volt, 20 Volt and 24 Volt.
Note:
Make sure you set the correct voltage! If you use the wrong voltage,
you can damage your notebook!
When the correct voltage is set, connect the output cable with the chosen notebook tip to your notebook.
Your notebook will now be charged by the notebook charger.
When the voltage button is not pressed for 30 seconds, the voltage selection is locked automatically and
cannot be changed by pressing the voltage button again.
If you want to change the voltage again, disconnect the power cable and wait until the display turns off.
When you reconnect the power cable, you can set the voltage again.
