3. How to use your memory card reader
This card reader provides four media slots for different memory cards.
You must insert each memory card in the correct slot, do not attempt to
insert the memory card in reverse direction by force. Please refer to
the following description.
1. CF slot: This is the top-left slot, which is for Compact Flash™
memory card type I/II and IBM™ Micro Drive.
2. SM slot: This is the bottom-left slot, which is for Smart Media™
memory card. The gold plate must be upward when you insert
it.
3. SD/MMC slot: This is the bottom-right slot, which is for Secure
Digital card and Multi Media card. The gold plate must be
downward when you insert it.
4. MS slot: This slot is the top-right slot, which is for Sony
stick and Memory stick Pro storage card. The gold plate must be
downward when you insert it.
