Chapter 6. Installation

1. Grid Connection

Connect the power cord of the UPS to a grounded power outlet in your
home.

2. Battery Charge

The UPS battery charges when connected to the main power outlet. To
ensure minimum battery feed in case of electrical power failure, you must
charge the battery for 6 hours before use.

3. Connecting Devices

Connect devices to the UPS through the output jacks on the rear panel
(cables not included).
4. Turn the UPS
To supply power to connected devices, turn the UPS using the power button
on the front panel. Wait two or three seconds, the UPS will start operating
