The hood may be installed in recirculation mode
or ducted.
Ducted version (Fig.1) the hood aspirates
the kitchen air saturated with fumes and odours,
purifies it through the grease filters and expels
it through an outlet pipe. With his version the
GB
charcoal filters are not required.
Recirculating version (Fig.1A) the hood aspirates
the kitchen air saturated with fumes and odours,
purifies it through the grease filters and the
charcoal filters and returns clean air into the
room.
The charcoal filters are not supplied with the hood.
Decide from beginning on the type of
installation.
For greater efficiency, we recommend to
install the hood as externally ducted.
Use
gloves
maintenance operations.
In case of exhausting version it is important :
- to prepare the hole and the duct of 150 mm.diameter
- to use a duct with the minimal indispensable length
- to use a duct with few curves as possible (max
curve angle 90°)
- to avoid using flat ducts or with different sections
- to use a duct with the smoother surface inside and
of a certified material
- don't connect the hood to exhaust ducts for fumes
(fireplaces, boilers, stoves,...)
- the air can not be evacuated into a wall hole, if this
hole is not dedicated to this purpose
- to equip the room of air intakes in order to not create
air depression (it must not exceed the 0,04 mbar)

F) ON/OFF lamps: if pressed and held,it allows
you to select 3 different levels. Last selected
level will remain in the memory when the
cooker hood restarts. If the product is
equipped with led lamps, it is not possible
to select the different levels; therefore the

G) TIMER: it permits to select 3 several
ranges (10', 15', 20' minutes)
H) *Filter alarm
I) Remote control signal receiver
*Filter alarm:
the first operation once you have connected the
and
cooker hood, is to set it into exhausting
or recycling mode. Proceed as follows:
once the cooker is connected all the keys will
light for some seconds: press
for around 8 seconds until that the key H is not
iluminated. Press the key B if you want the
cooker hood to work in ducted mode ( this
way the charcoal filter counter is not working
because its not needed); the red key H is blinking
and you can confirm by pressing it.
To set the hood into recycling mode (grease
filters and charcoal filter counter) you must press
the key C after the 8 seconds and the key H will
iluminate red; press it to confirm.
After 30 hours of use, the H key will illuminate:
this means that it is time to clean the grease
filters. After 140 hours working the key H will blink
red: this means that the grease filters must be
cleaned and the charcoal filters replaced. To stop,
press the key H longer for second 7-8.
Note: it is not possible to reset the counter
partially, the alert sounds until the system reset
for the alarms is done. This means that intermediate
resets are not possible.
