Cleaning Patterns

Cleaning Order
Sweepur 120 will divide the cleaning areas into sections properly by GyroNavi Box; it will clean from right
section to left section.
When cleaning in opening area is completed, Sweepur 120 will clean the edge of the wall and nearby of
furniture, then move to the next section. After above cleaning circle is done, the Sweepur 120 will return
to its starting point.
Cleaning Patterns
Sweepur 120 will clean open areas of floor back and forth in an orderly manner. When there is any furniture
or other obstacle on its way, it will clean along its edge, and then move to other area. Sweepur 120 can
detect the cliff automatically. Where there are stairs ahead, it will avoid the stairs and return to the clea-
ning area.
Note: When there is any platform with a drop of 60 cm or more, please put physical barrier around the
stairs to keep it away from dropping off and ensure its safety.
Sweepur 120 can detect raised edge of carpet/rugs and bypass the carpet/rugs to continue cleaning.
Note: If there is no obvious difference in height between the carpet edge and hard floor, a temporary
barrier shall be placed to allow the robot to detect the edge of carpet, to stop the robot climbing on to
the carpet.
After it completes cleaning, Sweepur 120 may clean along wall edges if it encounters wall edges.
(Check fig as below)
Pause/Resume
When the Sweepur 120 is lifted or any of its function button is touched, it stops cleaning and enters in
pause mode. When cleaning is paused, there will be flashing blue light of its related cleaning mode button.
Meanwhile, the robot will store the map of the location where the cleaning has been finished.
To resume the cleaning, please place the robot within 2m distance to the GyroNavi Box, make it face in
the same general direction it started, and then press the flashing cleaning mode button.
After identifying its position on the map, the Sweepur 120 will continue to clean the rest unfinished areas.
The Sweepur 120 may re-clean already covered area or explore new areas of cleaning while determining
its position on the map.
If you command the robot to clean from the pause point, it may take longer time to find its position
accordingly. The closer it is to the GyroNavi Box, the shorter time it will take to find its position.
Hold the power button for 2 seconds to shut down your robot if you want to exit pause status and quit
cleaning.
Note: The robot can only be paused if it was connected succesfully to the GyroNavi Box at the very
beginning of cleaning circle setting up.
