heating cable heats up slightly, thereby generating nearly natural nutrient seeps through
thermal water circulation and promoting lush plant growth.

Warning: Since equipment for aquariums comes into contact with water, particular care is
needed to avoid electric shock. Should one of the following situations arise, do not repair
the appliance yourself. The appliance must be repaired by an authorised specialist or sent to
JBL GmbH & Co. KG for inspection:
If the appliance has fallen into the water, do not try to grab it! Disconnect the
a)
transformer from the power supply first and then retrieve it. If current-carrying
parts of the transformer become wet, disconnect it from the power supply
immediately!
b)
Check the appliance carefully after installation: There should be no water on
parts which are not intended for contact with water.
c)
Do not use the appliance if the cable, plug or power supply unit are damaged.
Likewise, the appliance should not be used if it is damaged, has been dropped
or is not functioning properly.
d)
The appliance should be positioned next to a wall socket in a spot where no
water can splash onto the socket or plug. The power cable of the transformer
and the PTC resistors of the heating cable coming out of the aquarium should
form a "drip loop" to prevent any water running along the cable from reaching
the mains socket or the transformer. Never touch the socket or plug if they are
wet! First, turn off the electric circuit that the transformer is connected to by
using the fuse switch. Afterwards, pull the plug. Check all parts for water.

The appliance may be used by children over the age of 8 and by persons with a physical,
sensory or mental impairment, as well as by inexperienced persons, if they are under
