• TIME STAMP: DATE/TIME - OFF
Description: This function is used to display or hide the
date/time markers on the images .
• FLICKER: AUTO - 60 Hz - 50 Hz
Description: This function sets the frequency of the light
source to match the frequency of the power grid, which
eliminates flickering .
• TV FORMAT: NTSC - PAL
Description: Choose right video format on the camera
and on the TV when using the TV-OUT function to pre-
vent color rendering problems .
• TIME AND DATE: YEAR .MONTH .DATE TIME: minutes
Description: If the time markers on videos and photos
are incorrect, the time and date can be corrected with
this function .
Button functions:
A - Press button "1" to move to the next lower value or
press button "4" to move to the next higher value .
B - Press record/playback start button "3" to save the
setting and exit the function .
• RECORD OVERWRITE: OFF - 2 MIN - 5 MIN - 15 MIN
Description: This function sets up the loop recording
feature:
1) The default setting is OFF . The unit will shut off auto-
matically when memory is full during recording .
2) After 2 MIN - 5 MIN - 15 MIN has been set, the unit
will save the recorded video when the selected time
interval expires .
When the TF card is full, the unit will automatically de-
lete the preceding videos one by one to recover space

for storing new videos .
• AUDIBLE SIGNAL: ON - OFF
Description: This function is used to turn on and off the
audible signal that the unit makes when it is connected
to a TV and the buttons are pushed .
• FORMAT: YES - NO
Description: This function is used to reset the Micro SD
card .
Notes: Since all files on the Micro SD card are deleted
when YES is selected, use this function very carefully .
Be sure you have saved all the files onto your PC before
formatting the Micro SD card .
• AUTOMATIC SHUTOFF: 1 MIN - 2 MIN - 3 MIN - 5 MIN
- OFF
Description: Once the desired time interval for automat-
ic shutoff has been set, the unit will shut off automati-
cally even while it is being used .
Notes: If this function is set to OFF, the unit will not shut
down automatically even if it is not being used .
• RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS: YES - NO
Description: To reset the system, select YES and briefly
press the record/playback start button "3" . System pa-
rameters will be restored to the factory default settings,
and the unit will restart .
• FIRMWARE VERSION:
Description: Use this function to display the firmware
version and relative information currently stored in the
unit .

18. Resetting the system

If the unit is not operating correctly, press record/play-
back start button "3" and LED/laser light control button
"4" at the same time to reset and shut down the unit .
Now, turn the unit back on and operate it normally .
Notes: After resetting the unit, wait 3 seconds before
operating it .
