Parts of the energizer
1 Battery compartment
2 Side latch
3 9 V or 12 V battery (not supplied)
4 6 position rotary switch (2 positions only on
0.17 J model)
5 Indicator lights (one red indicator light only
on 0.17 J model)
6 Fence output ( ) terminal
7 Fence earth ( ) terminal
Note:
The rotary switch knob must be fitted at all
times and replaced immediately if lost. Please
contact your local Tru-Test Group stockist if you
need a replacement.

Key to symbols on the energizer
Fence earth terminal (GREEN) Connect the
fence earth terminal to the earth system.
Fence output terminal (RED). Connect the
fence output terminal to the fence.
+ Positive battery terminal (RED WIRE).
Negative battery terminal (BLACK WIRE).

The energizer should be opened or repaired
only by qualified personnel in order to
reduce the risk of electric shock.
