– Avoid contact with metallic objects.(Rings, nails, screws et cetera)there is a danger
of short-circuiting!
– As a result of a short-circuit batteries may heat up considerably or even catch fire,
this may result in burns.
– For your safety the battery poles should be covered with adhesive strips during
transport.
– If a battery leaks, do not rub your eyes with your hands. If in contact with the liquid,
the hands should be washed thoroughly and eyes rinsed out with clear water, if
symptoms persist please consult a doctor.
– This appliance shall not be used by children from 0 to 8 years old. This appliance
can be used by children aged from 8 years old and above if they are continuously
supervised. This appliance can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children aged less than 8 years old. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Take the appliance and accessories out of the box. Remove the stickers, protective
foil or plastic from the device.
• Always weigh/use the scale on a hard and flat surface. When you are measuring,
please keep still.
