Select a random password. Use random strings of letters and
numbers. Passwords from common language usage are not secure.

Change the password regularly or immediately if you feel it has been
compromised.

Passwords should be changed as frequently as possible. This requires
a little effort, but increases your security considerably.

Even if only the slightest indication of a leak exists, the password
should be changed.

The HomePlug AV Utility user interface is divided into tabs. These tabs
include the following:

Common Features
The various tabs in the HomePlug AV Utility user interface contain common
features.
Device Selection Menu

This drop down menu lists HomePlug AV devices detected in the
network.
Buttons
•
Write Implements the configuration changes from the Encryption
tab.
•
Set Implements the password changes entered from the
Encryption tab.
•
Close Closes the window.
