Operation
CAUTION
• Remember that you, as the string trimmer operator are responsible of your safety as well as the safety
of those near the work area. Follow all the safety Standards (pages 4 and 5) before, during and after operating the
machine.
• Keep a balanced stance with both feet firmly stepping on
the ground.
• Hold the string trimmer firmly and in front of you. Your
right hand shall be on the handle at hip waist, and the left
hand on the auxiliary handle so that the tool is aligned
with your body and pointing the cutter head downwards,
away from your feet.
DANGER
• Do not start or operate the string
trimmer in a different position.
• Start the string trimmer and make cuts from left to right,
balancing your waist and keeping the tool into position.
• As you cut the grass, the cutting line will wear out and
will fall apart. To release more line from the spool, press
the string trimmer a little bit downwards making the
ground press against the spool and release more line. The
guard blade will cut the remaining line. In that moment
stop pushing the string trimmer against the ground to
save line.
• To cut brush or high grass cut gradually. Do not try to cut
all at once from its base, since the residue may clog the
cutter head or make you lose control over the string
trimmer.
