DPA−...−CRVZS
Setting states
Setting
The set output pressure P2 is lower than the
supply pressure P1
The supply pressure P1 is min. 2 bar less than
the set output pressure P2
Increasing the output pressure
Air volume/current on the input side is too low
Maximum regulator setting for output pressure
DPA− −10− −CRVZS−
DPA− −16− −CRVZS−
Switching off
With pressure booster combinations DPA− −CRVZS2(5) without additional soft−
start valve in the system and without additional start−up valves in front of P1 and
after P2 (è Fig. 3):
Turn the regulator button in an anti−clockwise direction as far as possible.
S
The exhaust procedure is performed using the regulator.
With pressure booster combinations DPA− −CRVZS10(20) (è Fig. 5):
1. Close the 3−way start−up valve on the output side P2.
2. Close the 3−way start−up valve on the input side P1.
The exhaust procedure is performed using both start−up valves. The regulator
remains in the set position.
Exhausting the air reservoir
Close the 3−way start−up valve between the pressure booster DPA and the air
S
reservoir CRVZS.

Result
The pressure regulator on the DPA
exhausts until the pressures are
equal. The CRVZS is emptied.
Normal operating status The output
pressure is reached. The DPA also
switches at low air consumption.
Increasing the air consumption
The set output pressure is not
reached.
typ. 10 bar, max. 10 bar
The max. output pressure can be
exceeded by up to 40 % (14 bar).
typ. 15.5 bar, max. 16 bar
