READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY: Every installation is unique. Before starting, please
check to insure that the procedures recommended will not damage the door, window, frame
etc. upon which this product is to be used. Kaba Ilco is not responsible for damage caused
by installation.
1.
Apply appropriate template (see reverse side) to inside of door and punch to mark the four
(4) screw holes and the cylinder hole. Next drill 1
door. Stop when the point of the hole saw breaks through. Drill through from the outside (to
avoid splintering). Drill the four (4)

Place cylinder in cylinder ring and insert into the 1
door. Position keyhole to bottom (see sketch).

Place Backplate over connecting bar and attach to cylinder using two (2) break-off screws
provided which are for 2
er length, depending on thickness of door (screws are provided with break-off points).

4.
Set bolt in unlocked position and place lock on
connecting bar. Attach lock to inside of door us-
ing four (4) long wood screws provided. Check
to see that the lock is working properly from both
inside and outside.
5.
Apply strike to door jamb in line with lock, (see
sketch to the right) mortise (recess) strike to door
jamb if necessary, then attach into jamb with the
seven (7) short wood screws provided.
